DESCRIPTION
Meguiar's M205 Mirror Glaze Ultra Finishing Polish is formulated with advanced technology to provide deep gloss and rich, swirl-free results. This professional grade polish works to permanently remove swirls and other light defects from all glossy paints including clear coats. It provides a smooth buffing feel and wipes off quickly for a fast and easy clean up. Ultra Finishing Polish can be applied by hand, dual action polisher like Meguiar’s MT300 DA Polisher, or by Rotary Buffer. Excellent as a light cleaner to remove minor paint swirls while enhancing shine before applying a wax or a sealant. Also, M205 Ultra Finishing Polish works well as a middle polishing step to further refine the paint after using Meguiar’s M105 Mirror Glaze Ultra Cut Compound and before applying a wax or sealant like Meguiar’s M21 Mirror Glaze Synthetic Sealant 2.0.
INSTRUCTIONS
METHOD 1: Applying by hand
- Using a Meguiar’s Foam Applicator Pad, distribute a small amount of the Ultra Finishing Polish.
- Work in a 1-2 square foot area in a circular pattern, making 4-6 overlapping passes per section.
- Without letting the polish dry, use a fresh, clean Meguiar’sSupreme Shine Microfiber Towel to remove the residue. Flip your towel to a clean side for a final wipe.
- Reapply the polish if you didn’t remove the light defects with the first application. Apply the polish in sections like this over the vehicle.
METHOD 2: Applying by Meguiar’s MT300 Dual Action Polisher
- Attach Meguiar’s Yellow Foam DA Polishing Disc – DFP5 or DFP6 to the MT300 DA Polisher. Dispense a small amount of the Ultra Finishing Polish directly onto the pad.
-
Set the MT300 DA Polisher speed to 4,800 OPM. Work in a 2’ x 2’ section applying 2 to 3 overlapping passes with moderate pressure. Do not allow the Polish to dry.
- Wipe off the residue with a fresh, clean Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel.
- Reapply the polish if you didn’t remove the light defects with the first application. Apply the polish in sections like this over the vehicle.
METHOD 3: Applying by rotary buffer
- Work one section at a time. Set rotary buffer to approximately 1000-1500 RPM’s.
- Dispense a small amount of Ultra Finishing Polish directly onto the paint and begin working in a 2’ x 2’ area with overlapping passes using a Rotary Foam Polishing Pad – WRFP7. Continue working until a light film remains.
- Remove the residue before the product dries with a fresh, clean Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel. Flip your towel to a clean side for a final wipe.
- Apply the Ultra Finishing Polish in sections like this over the vehicle. If you are looking to remove light paint defects and they are still present, repeat this process multiple times in sections over the vehicle.
