DESCRIPTION

IDQ 311N  is a 3-ounce aerosol can containing a specialized formula designed to stop minor leaks in automotive R-134a air conditioning systems. It works by injecting a chemical sealant, often paired with additives, to repair common leaks in rubber hoses, gaskets, and O-rings, while also including a red dye to help identify larger leaks that require mechanical repair.

NOTE:

• Not a Permanent Fix for All Leaks: This product is intended for small, slow, or "seep" leaks in rubber components. It is not effective for large metal failures or broken hoses.
• Requires Additional Refrigerant: This 3 oz can usually only contains the sealer and a small amount of carrier refrigerant, meaning you will likely need to add a full can of R-134a refrigerant to the system afterward to restore proper function.
• System Compatibility: While generally safe, some technicians caution that overuse of stop-leak products can potentially clog systems over time.
