Shipping Policy

Orders placed by 1:00 PM PT, Monday through Friday, usually ship the same day when the item is in stock. This excludes holidays, supplier delays, and battery products that require local delivery, freight, or special handling.

In-stock items typically ship within 24 to 48 hours. If an item needs to be drop-shipped from a supplier, we will work to have it shipped as quickly as possible.

Shipping Methods

We work with multiple carriers to offer available shipping options. FedEx is our preferred carrier, and UPS or USPS may be available for eligible U.S. shipments. Expedited shipping may be available for rush orders.

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the items, destination, carrier, and shipping method selected. Some products may require additional shipping charges or special handling. Parts Universe does not use shipping fees as a profit center.

Local Battery Delivery

Eligible battery products may qualify for local delivery within a 40 mile radius from Walnut, California. Batteries over 100 lb, including some large commercial and Group 8D batteries, may require special handling and may not qualify for local delivery. Accessories and most non-battery products are normally shipped by ground service when available.

Restricted Items

Some hazmat, oversized, heavy, or regulated products may have shipping restrictions or may require special handling. Availability and carrier options can vary by item and destination.

Confirmation and Tracking

Confirmation emails are sent after your package ships and include tracking information when available. Any quotes, lead times, or delivery dates are estimates and may change.
